I want to turn
these tears
into bread crumbs
and feed them
to the ducks by the calm water pond.

*shadowkaru15 (I just want to feel)

This picture is based on the poem I just want to feel by :iconshadowkaru15:. Please read the entire poem, it's gorgeous and it will help you understand the different aspects of this picture (namely the paper plane, ducks and red flowers).

I have to apologize for my poor photo manipulation skills, as is visible with the paper plane. I couldn't take it directly with the picture, not only would it have been technically very difficult without assisitant to throw it and to retrieve it from the pond but also because it wouldn't have flown in the snow.
Yes the snow. It wasn't planned for this picture, as I planned the date with my model before the snow was planned, but I am quite fond of the effect it gives. I am glad it started to snow :aww:

Sixth in my series on Shadowies poems :meow:

Oh my gosh!!!

You really make me feel the loneliness in this picture and the amount of birds there is making me gasp XD

And I love how you put the paper plane there, it really gives an extra depth to the picture ^^

Brillian work, as always and I think the snow dows only good to the photo =)

I'm happy you like it :D

That was about half of the ducks you see there =P And they were biting in my model... But she was brave and stood her ground
The snow was really nice for this picture ^^ And also for the fotoshoot I had shortly after. But by now we just want the trains to go at their normal times again

It's not that cold here. Too bad for all the Dutch who wanted to have a Elfstedentocht again this year XD But snow tends to mess up things, yes ^^;

Teehee =P Elfstedentocht would be translated 'ride of 11 cities' (or at least that's the general thought). If the ice becomes thick enough, thousands of Dutch go to Friesland (our most northern province which is something of a country of itself sometimes ;)) to go ice skating. The Elfstedentocht is a long tour of almost 200 km, passing 11 'cities' of Friesland. It really is the ideal of every iceskater in the Netherlands to ride the Elfstedentocht(and if you watch the winter Olympics you might have noticed ice skating is kind of our speciality)
But the ice must be very thick because of the huge amount of people who want to ride it, and even then not half of the people who want are allowed. A maximum of 16000 people is allowed =P
And considering the last Elfstedentocht was held in 1997 and it hasn't been possible since, everyone was quite excited when the temperature was so low for so long a few weeks ago =P

But alas! The ice was not thick enough and everything has thawed away by now...
